On the day

Before the inspector arrives

Leave the walls where they are

Moving a wall the night before an inspection is a renovation, and requires its own inspection.

Ask the mirror to clear

Ask the occupants to leave. They will not. Note the time you asked, for your appeal.

Have the paperwork ready

The permit, the drawings and any previous report. A screenshot of the drawings is not the drawings; see § 107.3.1.

Be present, and quiet

The owner must be in the instance. The owner may not follow the inspector from room to room saying "that's intentional".

Not a joke

Nobody will inspect anything

There is no inspection service, no inspector and no appointment. Each button on this site adds one to an anonymous counter and does nothing else. No world is reported to anyone.
